Splendora Education Foundation Increases Grant Awards for Educators

SPLENDORA, TX – May 15, 2025 – At its April 22 board meeting, the Splendora Education Foundation voted unanimously to increase grant award amounts for Splendora ISD educators beginning in the 2025–2026 school year.

Starting this fall, individual classroom grants will double from $1,000 to $2,000, and team grants will increase from $3,000 to $6,000. This change reflects the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to empowering educators and enhancing student learning through innovative programs and projects.

“We’re proud to invest even more directly into our classrooms,” said Katie Key, Foundation Coordinator of the Splendora Education Foundation. “This increase will allow teachers and teams to dream bigger and bring even more creative, impactful learning experiences to our students.”

The grant application window will open August 20, 2025. More information will be shared with district staff prior to that date, including details about grant workshops where educators can learn how to navigate the application process and get expert tips on crafting successful proposals.
