Janis Holt Sworn In as State Representative for House District 18

Austin, Texas – January 14, 2025 – Janis Holt of Silsbee, Texas, was sworn in today as the State Representative for House District 18 during a ceremony held at the Texas State Capitol. House District 18 encompasses East Montgomery, Hardin, Liberty, and San Jacinto Counties.  

Representative Holt brings a deep understanding of the region and a steadfast commitment to the people she now serves. As she takes on this important role, she has pledged to be a dedicated advocate for the district’s conservative values, focusing on open communication, transparency, and collaboration with local leaders.
