Guest Speaker, State Representative Janis Holt

State Representative Janis Holt serves House District 18 and has lived in Silsbee since 1993. A lifelong Republican, Janis and her husband of 36 years, Alton, own Hi-Tech Air Purification Systems and raise Angus cattle on their family ranch. She previously worked as a dental assistant and 4th-grade teacher and served on the Silsbee ISD School Board from 2014 to 2024, including as Board President.

During the 89th Legislative Session, Representative Holt served on the House Committee on Homeland Security, Public Safety & Veterans' Affairs and the House Committee on Pensions, Investments & Financial Services. Her work focuses on border security, parental rights, school choice, pro-life protections, and defending Second Amendment freedoms.

Janis has been active in Republican leadership for nearly two decades and served as a member of the 2016 Electoral College. She also served as Vice-Chair of the State Commission on Judicial Conduct after being appointed by Governor Greg Abbott.

Representative Holt remains committed to defending Texas families, strengthening communities, and representing the conservative values of House District 18.
