Greater EMC Chamber Launches ''Proud Property Awards'' to Celebrate Business Curb Appeal

East Montgomery County, TX — The Greater East Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the launch of its new Proud Property Awards program — a community initiative designed to celebrate local businesses and commercial properties that exemplify curb appeal, maintain exceptional standards, and contribute to the overall pride and beauty of East Montgomery County.

“This initiative was inspired by the East Montgomery County Improvement District’s Facade Improvement Grant Program,” said Mark Linabury, President & CEO of the Greater EMC Chamber. “We need to celebrate and recognize the commercial properties that take pride in their investment. We want to encourage property and business owners to realize the impact they have on first impressions and community pride.”

The Proud Property Awards program recognizes properties within East Montgomery County that demonstrate outstanding maintenance and visual appeal.

To qualify for recognition, buildings must be at least two years old, well-maintained, and free from visible damage. Evaluation criteria include paint condition, landscaping, signage, and parking or drive areas that are paved, clearly striped, and free of debris.

Community members are invited to participate in the program by submitting nominations year-round. A selection committee of Chamber representatives will review submissions and present awards quarterly to those businesses and commercial properties that best embody excellence in appearance and community pride.
