WANTED: Experienced FCAW Structural Steel Welders

We are currently seeking several skilled FCAW Welder to join our team in a fast-paced structural steel fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of welding to AWS D1.1 Structural Steel Code and be capable of producing high-quality welds consistently.

Job Requirements:

· Proficient in FCAW welding using 1/16" flux-cored wire with 100% CO2 shielding gas

· Experience welding structural steel in accordance with AWS D1.1

· Must be able to pass a weld test:

· 1" A36 grade test coupon

· No backing

· Back weld required after arc gouging the root

· 3G (vertical) position

· Welds must pass UT

· Knowledge and ability to follow preheat requirements per AWS D1.1

· Capable of working efficiently in a high-production shop environment

· Ability to maintain welding equipment in safe, proper working condition

· Must supply and use appropriate personal welding gear to perform work safely

· Must be able to back gouge

Preferred Qualifications:

· Strong attention to weld quality and code compliance

· Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team
