2020 Peacebuilding Community Awards

October is Conflict Resolution Month! To celebrate, the Dispute Resolution Center of Montgomery County, Inc. (DRC-MC) and the Association for Conflict Resolution Houston Peer Mediation Team are establishing the 2020 Peacebuilding Community Awards in Harris and Montgomery County. The Peacebuilding Community Awards Criteria flyer is posted on the DRC-MC website. See www.resolution-center.org. The nomination form is very short and simple to fill out online. Nominees should excel at establishing/promoting local peace initiatives; or promoting peaceful conflict resolution practices; or peace training for any age group. There are four nomination categories: (1) K-12 Grade Nominee; (2) New Generation Nominee (18-25 years old); (3) Community Member or Volunteer Nominee; or (4) Organization Nominee. Winners will be publicly announced and honored. Please note that individuals and organizations may self-nominate. Individuals and organizations may also be nominated for more than one category of awards.
