The Greater EMC Chamber kicked off the year in unforgettable fashion by surprising our very first new member of the year with an unannounced drop-in celebration at Yepes Animal Hotel. What began as a normal day at the business quickly transformed into a festive moment as a lively crowd of Chamber team members, board members, diplomats, and fellow members arrived with balloons in hand, clapping, cheering, and officially welcoming Yepes Animal Hotel to the Chamber family.

The energy of the celebration perfectly matched the setting—because Yepes Animal Hotel is anything but ordinary. Nestled on scenic acreage surrounded by woods, the property feels more like a retreat than a traditional pet resort. Colorful fencing and custom millwork accentuate the business’s bright blue brand colors, creating a cheerful, upscale environment that immediately stands out.

Perhaps the most unexpected (and delightful) feature is their two-story enclosure housing beautiful, curious lemurs—an unforgettable sight that truly sets Yepes apart. Family-owned and thoughtfully designed, Yepes Animal Hotel offers grooming, boarding, and their signature “spa” services for animals of all kinds. While many facilities focus solely on dogs, Yepes extends its care to cats, birds, pocket-sized pets, and more, delivering personalized attention in a calm, welcoming setting.
