Color, Culture and Community: May Luncheon Highlights
The Greater EMC Chamber welcomed members and guests to a vibrant and engaging May Monthly Luncheon filled with culture, connection, and meaningful conversation about the future of Precinct 4 and East Montgomery County. With festive décor, lively entertainment, and valuable community updates, the luncheon created an energetic atmosphere that kept attendees engaged from start to finish.

Talented dancers from Ballet Folklorico de Houston (Porter, TX) demonstrate the power of storytelling and culture through their unique style of dance.
A Festive Welcome and Flavorful Experience
Guests were welcomed by Chamber Diplomats as networking began throughout the Atrium Center. Passed appetizers were enjoyed while Ballet Folklórico de Houston provided live entertainment, captivating attendees with colorful traditional attire and energetic performances that brought the Cinco de Mayo-inspired luncheon theme to life.
A blessing was shared by Jeanna Bumpas before Deysi and Moises of featured caterer Mexichido Bar & Grill introduced the afternoon’s menu and invited guests to enjoy the buffet.

The luncheon experience combined great food, festive entertainment, and valuable opportunities for members and guests to connect with one another in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Following lunch and networking, Board Member Cameron Hayes led the pledges before Presenting Sponsor Elevation Land Solutions took the stage. Jeff Burke thanked the Chamber for the opportunity before generously dedicating the remainder of his speaking time to Amber Bender, Founder of Addi’s Faith Foundation.

Bender shared the mission of the organization and the incredible work being done to support families facing pediatric cancer while raising awareness in the fight to end childhood cancer. Her heartfelt remarks added a meaningful and impactful moment to the afternoon’s program.

The Chamber also recognized Centerprize Sponsor, Texas Mounted Patrol Security, along with Table Sponsors, CH&P Management and 936-600-DUMP, for their support of the event.

A Dynamic Conversation About the Future of Precinct 4
The luncheon’s featured presentation brought an engaging and informative discussion between Precinct 4 Commissioner Matt Gray and Chamber Board Chair Heather Ramsey. Their conversational format kept the audience engaged as they discussed the Commissioner’s priorities, current projects, ongoing challenges, and vision for the future of the region.
Attendees learned more about infrastructure improvements already completed, projects currently underway, and future plans aimed at supporting the area’s continued growth. The discussion also covered the recent road bond, available funding sources, and how investments are being allocated throughout the community.
Commissioner Gray also encouraged attendees to utilize the resources and services available through his office, reinforcing the importance of communication and accessibility between local government and the community it serves.

Strengthening Community Through Connection
From cultural entertainment and networking to impactful community conversations, the May luncheon once again highlighted the Chamber’s commitment to bringing businesses, leaders, and organizations together to strengthen East Montgomery County.
