Weekly Opportunities: May 2026 Week 2

There is a lot happening this week in the Greater EMC Chamber, and that is a very good thing.

Before anything else, it is worth pausing to recognize what makes all of this possible. Our chamber is now powered by 560+ members. That means 560+ businesses, leaders, ideas, and people investing in something bigger than themselves. It is a growing network full of energy, momentum, and yes, probably a group chat nobody wants to manage.

Jokes aside, that support fuels everything. Every event, every connection, every welcome, and every opportunity to strengthen the business community comes from members choosing to be part of it. That is what helps this community keep growing and thriving.

A Busy Thursday for the Greater EMC Chamber

Thursday is packed with opportunities to show up, connect, and support fellow businesses in the community. If you are looking for meaningful ways to stay involved, this is one of those days to circle on the calendar.

Start the Day with a Ribbon Cutting for McCoy’s Building Supply

The first stop is a special welcome for McCoy’s Building Supply.

Then Keep the Momentum Going at Traveling Thirsty Thursday

After the ribbon cutting, there is a little time to get back to work, catch up on emails, return a few calls, and then head right back out for an afternoon of networking.

Traveling Thirsty Thursday, presented by Porter Insurance, begins later that day and is designed to bring members together in a relaxed, social setting.
