There is a lot happening across our vibrant and engaged chamber this week, and it is the perfect time to get plugged in. From ribbon cuttings and community celebrations to signature luncheons and our annual Grand Prix, the calendar is full of opportunities to connect, support local organizations, and be part of what is happening across the Greater EMC area.

This Month’s Sponsor Spotlight: Splendora ISD Education Foundation

This month’s video sponsor is the Splendora ISD Education Foundation, an organization dedicated to connecting community support directly to Splendora ISD classrooms.

That mission comes to life in meaningful ways. One standout example is a teacher grant called Paws for a Cause. Through this initiative, high school student athletes are paired with students who have special needs. The program is designed to build relationships that foster confidence, inclusion, and leadership for everyone involved.

That is what makes the foundation’s work so impactful. It is not simply about funding projects. It is about creating opportunities that strengthen relationships across the district and leave a lasting difference in the school community.

Monday: Multi-Chamber Ribbon Cutting at Henry’s Home Horse and Human Sanctuary

The week begins with a special welcome for Henry’s Home Horse and Human Sanctuary. A multi-chamber ribbon cutting will take place at their Spring location at 10:00 a.m.

Ribbon cuttings are always a great way to celebrate growth in the community, but multi-chamber events bring an added level of energy and connection. They create space for members, leaders, and supporters from multiple areas to come together around a shared mission and a new chapter for a local organization.

Wednesday: Welcome Yonutz Kingwood

Midweek brings another celebration as the community officially welcomes Yonutz Kingwood.

Their ribbon cutting will be held in Kingwood at 11:30 a.m. These events are a simple but powerful way to show support for local businesses as they establish roots, grow their presence, and build relationships in the area.

Leading Ladies Luncheon on April 28

One of the featured upcoming events is the Leading Ladies Luncheon, presented by Memorial Hermann Northeast, happening on April 28.

If you have not secured tickets yet, now is the time. This event is expected to be a meaningful gathering, and attendees will not want to miss what Shannon Carr has to share.

Leading Ladies events often create a space for inspiration, encouragement, and connection, and this luncheon is shaping up to be one of those can’t-miss opportunities on the chamber calendar.
