Aimee’s other commitments and contributions prior to joining the GHBA include serving as deputy director of intergovernmental and global affairs for Harris County, Texas, serving as director of community engagement and media for the Houston Apartment Association, and holding the position of chief of staff for her Houston City Council member. Aimee is a lifelong Houstonian and an active supporter of several organizations, including: the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council, West Houston Leadership Institute, HomeAid Houston, Houston Community College Chancellor’s Business Champions Council, Texas Association of Builders’ Executive Officers Council, BuildStrong Academy of Houston powered by the Home Builders Institute, WorkTexas, and Pink Granite Foundation.
