These two words describe your chamber and business community in 2021 and will continue to in the new year. A third word to add is unprecedented. In 2021 we experienced unprecedented growth both in membership and investment levels. Our membership grew more than 20% and investment levels more than 30%. How was this accomplished without a membership drive or special event? With the support of EMCID, a visionary board of directors and quality staff, we as a chamber could focus on providing value and opportunities to our members. As a Business Membership Organization, members are the reason we exist. It's why we implemented the philosophy of being "Member Focused - Opportunity Driven". It's why our members and ambassadors thank others for doing business in the community while inviting them to be part of the business community with a chamber membership. It's why we're looking forward to a vibrant and engaged new year with your participation.

Why is there no monthly luncheon in January? There's a lot of planning and promotion that goes into each monthly luncheon and with our offices being closed for the holidays at the end of the year until after the new year, it just doesn't work out. But, we have created a new informative Proud2BeEMC production called 411 Sessions to get you dialed into our region. The first of these will be on Wednesday, January 12th with the focus being on Roads & Mobility and Law Enforcement. Lunch from Texas Roadhouse and both sessions are included at an introductory rate of $20 thanks to presenting sponsors i3 Verticals and Eagle Sand & Gravel. There is limited seating so please register early.

Our final monthly luncheon of 2021 was another sold-out event and it was nice to be back home now known as The Atrium Center.

We will have our annual Casino Night celebration event on the 3rd Fridays of February moving forward. Please save the date for February 18, 2022 as we will open registration the first week of January.
