Greater EMC Chamber Partners with Lone Star College-Kingwood to Educate Younger Professionals
The Greater EMC Chamber is proud to partner with Lone Star College-Kingwood for a young professionals' monthly Connect & Develop Series. The YPEMC-Young Professionals is a newly formed group as a service of the chamber. “We are truly thankful to Lone Star College-Kingwood for helping us with this new Connect & Develop Series to educate individuals just getting started on their job and career pathways with a variety of topics to benefit them personally and professionally,” said Chamber President/CEO Mark Linabury. “Empowering younger professionals today for a stronger business community tomorrow strengthens the future for not only our chamber but others as well. Soft skills and other relevant topics will add tremendous value to those who participate in this new series. We have an engaged and committed leadership team working to provide opportunities to connect, develop, and serve. It's why the group exists and it's exciting to see them rally around this unique and innovative opportunity.”

The YPEMC-Young Professionals Connect & Develop Series will be held on the third Thursday of the month from 5 PM to 7 PM at the LSC-Kingwood campus starting September 15th. The series is available at no cost with event registration. YPEMC membership is encouraged but not required to participate at this time.
